Join us as we commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Black Women in Horror list, a milestone in recognizing and supporting black women in the horror genre. This panel, led by moderator and new list member Tamika Thompson, with list creator Sumiko Saulson, as well as list members Kenya Moss-Dyme, Paula D. Ashe, RJ Joseph, Linda Addison, and L. Marie Wood, as well as Guest of Honor Jewelle Gomez. They will discuss the list's origins, its evolution through projects like the BlackWomenInHorror.org website, and the impact of anthologies such as Sycorax's Daughters and Black Magic Women. Panelists will share their experiences as Black women writing horror, the progress made over the years, and the ongoing challenges they face in the industry.

This session will be live-streamed to our virtual audience.
