I'm Kathleen Scheiner, proud member of the New York City HWA chapter. I like dance, roller derby, mentoring teens at Girls Write Now, astrology, tarot cards, and other witchy things. I've written for Publishers Weekly, L'Ecran Fantastique, Chime for Change, Toxic, and other publications. My short fiction has appeared in A New York State of Fright, Under Twin Suns: Alternate Histories of the Yellow Sign, and many Girls Write Now anthologies. My novel The Collectors was published in 2013, and my agent is currently shopping my gothic horror novel Blood Masque, which is set in the New York City ballet world.
